Imagine Pintrest meets Pandora, replacing all your browser ads. How great would that be? That's what Micha's new Intently software does. Hear more about his journey and sign up free at free.

Here's what we learned from Micha in today's interview:

Intently is his 8th startup

Intently replaces all of the browser ads you see with whatever content you want

Don't wait until your product/service is perfect before you release it, you will never believe it is perfect

Figure out what you don't do well and pay someone else to do that so you can focus on things you do well

Work hard, but find balance also. You have to take care of yourself

Build what you love, do what you love, and the money will come

Croft Edwards is a master of teaching people how to be leaders, and without this your business will never grow. Croft gives amazing advice on how to lead and align your company for optimal performance. He is on an active trajectory to bring the concept of LeadershipFlow to the world. The premise is how do you, through leadership, create flow in individuals and organizations. Flow is defined as optimal human performance where you feel your best and perform your best. He explores leadership from an ontological perspective, exploring how leaders show up in language, moods/emitions and the body and how to shift how one shows up. I am in the early stages of the book on leadershipflow and have started the exploration of Keynote speaking to share my message.

He works a lot with entrepreneurs on how they physically show up, their leadership presence, and how their presence is determining their success as an entrepreneur. The challenges of entrepreneurship can be less about the product or service the entrepreneur sells and more about how they show up, the conversations they share, and the moods and emotions in which they live.

Here are some things we learned from him:

  • The most difficult person you have to lead as a leader is yourself. What you bring to the table every day will steer your employees to do the same.
  •  "Change Coaching" is all about helping businesses fundamentally change the way they do things.
  • From his Special Forces background he learned the technique of "Going Native" which means immersing himself into the culture of his client's companies.
  • He puts himself into the action to see a leader in their natural environment.
  • He focuses on moods and emotions, assessing these is the keys to what makes a company tick.
  • He fights against "Resignation and Resentment", these are the primary emotions that work against companies being productive.
  • "Leadership flow" is all about creating flow for a company's management and employees.
  • You have to take care of your team. Every team member has different cares, and you need to know what they are.
  • There are 3 perspectives of "care". The Organization's, the Manager's, and the Employees care. and they are often not in alignment.

Danielle's company Magnolia Bluebird Design & Events is growing like crazy, hear how she started and how she does it in today's interview with The Nice Guys.

She started her company less than 2 years ago, but in that time Danielle has made quite a name for herself. Here are a few of her accomplishments:

• Named one of the top 12 Wedding Planners in Washington DC by two top wedding blogs.

• Named one of the 30 Under 40 by Special Events Magazine

• Immediate Past President of the Washington D.C. chapter of the National Association of Catering and Events (NACE)

• Building one of the most sought after special event companies in the D.C. market.

• She comes from a long line of stubborn women.

• Married to one amazing man (OK, it's Doug Sandler)

And here's what we learned talking to her:

•  It doesn't necessarily take a ton of capital to fulfill your dreams.

• You've got to have cheerleaders.

• Don't burn bridges, you never know who you will run into in business.

• You have to have passion and drive, especially when things are not going well.

•  Sometimes the seemingly worst situations in life can catapult you to figuring out a way to make your dreams a reality.

• Success is achievable if you focus and work hard.

• Relationships and perspective are everything.

• If you don't believe in yourself, no one else will either. Confidence is key.

Lower prices or better service? Today The Nice Guys make an argument for not lowering your prices and advice on how to attract more customers with better service.

Call to Action- Get on the map! To get pinned on our listener map answer our 2 question survey at, or tweet out to @DJDoug or @NiceGuyonBiz and say "Put me on the map!" with your location. Doug is giving away audio copies of his book "Nice Guys Finish First" to the first 10 people who do!

Tech Talk- is a great website design tool that is very professional and very inexpensive. There are a lot of website design tools available today, but this is one of the best.

Signature advice- Price vs. Value

Businesses make decisions every day regarding where to focus their resources to attract more customers. Lower prices, or better service? We fall squarely in the "better service" camp and here's why:

• Nordstom's, Ritz-Carlton and Zappos. 3 incredibly successful companies built entirely on customer service.

• vs. Vista Print

• Valvoline oil change vs. Jiffy Lube

Dave Sandler is a DJ, author, pilot, survivor, speaker, and Baltimore traffic slave for almost 30 years. Hear his whole story on today's interview with The Nice Guys.

5 years ago, Dave Sandler died of a heart attack on a softball field. "Detour Dave" is an icon in radio with almost 30 years doing traffic on 2 of Baltimore's most popular stations, and fortunately for him, there were 2 doctors at that softball game who helped him back to life. Here's more that you can hear about Dave in today's interview:

• He has been DJ'ing private events for over 20 years

• He had been in broadcast radio doing traffic for almost 30 years

• His heart attack has given him a new lease on life, he is now a motivational speaker with the message to be aware of what's happening with you and around you.

• He owns and flies his own plane and has expanded his business to include aerial photography

And a few things to learn from him:

• Anything is possible if you want it bad enough

• Don't ever quit on your dreams

• Use your support group and lean on them hard

• Don't do anything in your life that you won't derive pleasure from

•  You are stronger than you think
